Introduction | Once upon a time I was a girl of 24. I wasn't very tired. Then I got married. To Dave. Then we had 2 kids under 1. And then 3 kids under 4. And then 4 kids under 5. And then 5 kids under 8. And then 6 kids under 10. Then we had 7 kids under 13. Now we have 8 kids under 17! Daughter of God. Made in His image and likeness. Practising the presence of God in the midst of diapers, nursing, schooling and screams. And laundry. Lots of laundry. I am tired but far more myself than I was sixteen years ago. Exhaustion has amazing healing properties. |
