| Introduction | I am very much committed to the path towards environmental sustainability at the Castle. It is a journey with a lot of opportunity for learning, both about the role small businesses can play in raising awareness of environmental issues and in finding practical ways to make a difference. Implementing change happens at varying rates - some things can happen overnight - like switching to a waterless urinal system - and other things take time, thought and planning - like finding suitable roof insulation, developing the garden and changing the attitude of staff and customers towards waste, food production and how becoming sustainable runs through every element of what we do. |
