| Interests | Hi, I'm Jen and this is my blog. It's a little random and scattered, like me. It has and will continue to grow with me. I've had a hard time deciding how I want this blog to look and feel and have finally realized I just want it to be real life. 100% me and my projects, family, travels, recipes, and whatever other random things I've got going on. I thought about just deleting this blog and making a new one because it's not perfect, but I decided instead I want to be able to see my growth and the changes that happen in my life. Anywho...a little (or maybe a lot) about me: I am married to Michael Steven Thorne, the most wonderful man I know (besides my dad of course). He is everything to me and I am glad I share everyday with him. He puts up with my crazy antics such as (mild) hoarding, my need to obtain free stuff (working on it), my lack of organization, being late most of the time, unfolded piles of laundry, piles of dishes (seriously never again living somewhere without a dishwasher), among other things. He is so good to me! I have a beautiful daughter Sydney Babs whom I absolutely adore and another baby girl to arrive in late September! Those of you who know me well know that I couldn't wait until I could have a family of my own, and it is harder and more rewarding and better than I ever dreamed. I enjoy learning, loving, creating, sharing, serving, painting, reading, my family, cooking, traveling, couponing, (using parentheses), crafting, eating, singing, the outdoors, taking baths, playing, snuggling, organizing, thrifting, decorating, baking, sleeping, and many more things. I belong to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I know that God lives and loves us every one. I strive to live righteously and treat others as I would like to be treated. I am imperfect. I have struggles. I have made mistakes and will continue to do so. I hope you can and will look past this and see the potential in me as I see the potential in you! |
