Introduction	My name is Jennie Powers; I am a Mom of 4 beautiful kids and 4 crazy dogs! I wear MANY “creative hats”… Party stylist, DIY’er, Entertainer, Graphic Designer, Baker, Chef, Candy & Dessert Buffet Designer, Calligrapher, Thrift Store Ninja, Up-Cycler, Decorator, Crafter, Photographer and Painter, just to name a FEW! My biggest PASSION in life is EVENTS! I truly believe that… SPECIAL MEMORIES MAKE LIFE UNFORGETTABLE! I learned that at an early age. I grew up with a mom who loved a good party, loved creating beautiful things, and loved her friends dearly. It must be in my DNA, because I LOVE ME some parties! This blog shares the parties I’ve hosted & been hired to create, and EVERYTHING that goes into making each celebration, unique and one of a kind. I’m not professionally trained; but I do have YEARS of experience and a “Black Belt” in Domestic Arts! I’ve recently decided to take this blog “to the next level!” I want to share my love of events with everyone, and how to bring all of these ideas & inspiration into your own parties. Always with a focus on BUDGET, Re-Cycling, & DIY projects- using a lot of the things you already have in your home.
