Introduction In 1996, I earned MLIS degree with distinction from the URI. Earned NBPTS certification in 2007. Currently in my 19th year of teaching, I continue to strive for excellence in teaching information and literacy skills. Committed to the purposeful integration of technology in both instruction and student learning,I diligently and patiently work with staff and students in choosing the most appropriate technology tools to meet learner needs. As a DEN STAR with Discovery Education. I joined more than 100 educators in Bozeman, Mont. for a professional development and networking event hosted by Discovery Educator’s Network (DEN). Collaborating and sharing resources, ideas and strategies with fellow educators from around the world is a joy! I am actively involved with CASL (CT Association of School Librarians) and serve as the VP-Intern. I founded a charity called Yes! Grace Rocks, Inc. which supports families with a child diagnosed with a brain tumor or brain injury.
