Introduction	I started running in 2004, and have been slowly improving my speed and endurance. I do my serious running on training runs and in small, local races. When I run in big event races, I do it with friends and family members, at their pace. My job requires me to keep some odd hours, so much of my running happens on a treadmill so I can keep an eye on the monitor.
