Introduction | Every quilt that I see inspires me. I respect every person that takes needle to fabric. However, two quilt artists have profoundly influenced my work. In 1999, Jeana Kimball taught me template- free and needle-turn appliqué, and opened the world of pictorial design before me. Then in 2006, Diane Gaudynski taught me free motion machine quilting and how to create texture in relief. Today my quilts are predominately hand appliquéd and machine quilted. Most of my original designs feature exotic, tropical flora and fauna found in my South Florida backyard. I invite you to follow my journey as a modern quilt maker; always striving to find the best of breed in tools, techniques, and inspiration. Let us find our artistic voice together. |
