| Introduction | Hi campers and outdoor lovers! I'm Sarah, and Mountain Man Approved is my camping journal. It's where I can share my favorite recipes and stories about my escapades in the great outdoors. I guess I should tell you a bit about the phrase "Mountain Man Approved". Ever since I was little, my family has gone on two week long camping trips out west. And as my three sisters and I have gotten older, we've been required to fix two meals (a breakfast and a dinner) for the campout. As we sit down at the picnic table each night, we always look to our Dad, knick-named the Mountain Man, for his "stamp" of approval. If he likes what we've cooked, he proudly announces that the meal is "Mountain Man Approved".
