| Introduction | I live with my charming, prairie fiancé, Luc, in Kerrisdale, a veritable resting grounds for old people. I like it here because it's flat enough to ride my one-speed cruiser bike and I can throw things at my friend's front door from my window. I play a lot of sports, but I resent anyone who tells me that I look "athletic". I graduated from UBC in ’07 with a BA. Luc and I met studying French in Quebec in May’05; we fell madly in love, did long distance for 10 agonizing months, then moved in together in April’06. We visit his family in Saskatchewan often, and if he didn't insist that I was too much of a wuss for the prairie winters, I think I would be content to move there and have our life be like an episode of "Corner Gas". I’m currently doing my Masters in Publishing, planning our wedding for September 2010, and writing about all the crazy things that happen in between. I dislike curly hair that looks wet, the phrase “aesthetically pleasing”, and people who chew with their mouth open. I like male/female duets, first dances at weddings, and pretending I know how to do the robot. I also like people who email me funny pictures of cats. |
