| Introduction | I am a seasoned software engineer with 25 years commercial experience. I've worked across many domains, projects, programming languages and technologies. I currently specialise in building quality, scalable and resiliant internet and cloud software using the JVM (Java, Kotlin and Scala). I'm an advocate of agile development, automated testing and ci/cd. Outside of work I'm happily married and have two amazing children who are completing the final parts of their secondary school education.
