Introduction | Welcome! I'm (Seyyedeh) Susan Marandi, an American-born Iranian currently living and teaching in Tehran, Iran. I'm an associate professor of TEFL at Alzahra (Al-Zahra) University. I'm married to a graphic artist (Mohsen) and I have two kids, Fatima and Morteza. and two beautiful grandkids! Some people ask me why I say that I'm an American-born Iranian. Very simply, because it's the truth and I didn't see any reason to hide it. Yes, this is me, Susan Marandi, a person who was born in the States but who has chosen to live in Iran. So kill me! ;-) BTW, in case you're wondering, Seyyedeh is a title, not my first name. My first name is Susan, which is also, by the way, an Iranian name. :-) |
Interests | Computer-Assisted Language Learning (CALL), Language Assessment/Testing, TEFL/TESL, hegemonies of language learning classes. |
