Introduction I live in Northern KY-- you can see Cincinnati from my house. I am married to my BFF and we have a very cozy life in a really cozy apartment made even cozier with two teenagers, five cats, a ton of art and craft supplies, bellydance costuming, instruments, etc. I have two wonderful step daughters, a job I love and wonderful friends! I love nature and music. I like to travel a little and I really want to go to Vienna for my 40th birthday to see the guys make the strudel.
Interests Art, knitting, crochet, tatting, sewing, french beaded flowers, jewelry, beads, music, movies, belly dancing, poi spinning, NIA, autoharp playing, faeries, nature, reading, cooking, natural/ alternative medicine/therapies, soapmakng, (hobbies are how I stay smoke free!)
Favorite Movies Oh boy, I really love movies. I have a lot of favorites, I could never choose just one. The ones I watch over and over again are my late 70s early 80s fantasies, Dark Crystal, Legend, Labrynth. I love the Ang Lee Sense and Sensibility, Pride and Predjudice, Jane Eyre (masterpiece theatre version is my fave), 300, V for Vendetta, Stardust, Enchanted, The Piano, Moulin Rouge, Coraline, Anything that has anything to do with Tim Burton, Twilight, New Moon, Avatar, Ever After, 28 days, Napoleon Dynamite. I like Vampire movies such as Bram Stokers Dracula, The Lost Boys, and Nosferatu. I love classics like, Casablanca, Breakfast at Tiffany's, Metropolis, and M. I love Alfred Hitchcock. I'm going to stop talking about movies now.
Favorite Music folk music, celtic music, classic rock, Janis, The Beatles, Loreena McKennit, Muse, Hayley Westenra, Miriam Stockley, Enya, Sarah Brightman, Rachel Unthank and the Winterset
Favorite Books Harry Potter, Twilight, anything by Amy Tan, Memoirs of a Geisha, Stardust, anything by Neil Gaiman really, Holes, The Mists of Avalon, Jane Eyre, Little Women, A Tree Grows in Brooklyn and anything by Jane Austen, and of course my trusty scriptures. Craft books are a separate category all together! Of course I wouldn't be who I am today without Debbie Stoller's wonderful books! The Creative Family and Handmade Home by Amanda Soule are two current favorites. I also love knit wit, Generation T, Enchanted Adornments, Beadelicious, The Art of French Beaded Flowers, Embroidered Effects, The Natural Bath and Body Book, Natural Soapmaking, and Love Soup.
