| Introduction | I've got 5 of the most awesome kids on the planet. The first three came to us the traditional way (me screaming my head off and begging for an epidural). Then my husband I decided to become foster parents for special needs infants. Eventually we decided that we wanted to adopt our 4th child, a boy with Noonans Syndrome and Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder. Soon after his adoption was finalized Z came to us as a newborn. We had no intention of adopting him, but he hung around long enough that we decided we may as well. Z has a rare genetic disorder called Adams-Oliver Syndrome and was drug exposed before birth. Why don't you ever wear a scarf? It doesn't need to be cold outside for your neck to feel naked.
For the same reason I never wear a coat. I've got my fur to keep me warm.
