| Introduction | At age 6 I gave up my dream of being a ballerina and have been an artist ever since. A RI native, I earned a BFA from Rhode Island School of Design. Since then Ive worked as a freelance artist,decorative painter,teacher and master painter at a folk art company. In 2006 I made the transition back to my first love; oil painting, bringing to my art a bold palette,strong composition and a colorful,illustrative style. Still calling Rhode Island home with my husband and our 3 boys, the Ocean State's beaches and the people who visit them are a constant source of inspiration. |
