Introduction Polly Scott is a dedicated educator with over 20 years' experience teaching. She began her career as a Montessori teacher, completing a 2-year training program through St. Nicholas Montessori College and a 1 year internship under a master teacher. She is a graduate of Elizabethtown College in Elizabethtown, P.A. where she earned an undergraduate degree in education. She completed her master's degree in special education at Caldwell College, where she also earned Learning Disability Teacher Certification (LDT-C). Polly Scott is a trained advocate, having received training from the NJ Statewide Parents' Advocacy Network and Wrightslaw. She has a certificate in paralegal studies from Fairleigh Dickinson University. She is the director of The Learning Laboratory, LLC, a full service learning center. There, she teaches enrichment classes, tutors, provides educational assessment and consults with schools on various aspects of special education. Ms. Scott provides educational outreach and advocacy support for families of students with special needs.
