Occupation | Longarm Machine Quilting |
Location | Carroll, Iowa |
Introduction | I have been making quilts for 30 years. I have recently acquired a longarm machine, and I enjoy the process of turning a pieced or applique top into a beautiful, completed quilt. |
Interests | Bible study, piano even though I am pretty lame (and have been told as much on more than one occasion!), making quilts, quilting for other people, volunteer work, aviation. |
Favorite Movies | The Remains of the Day; Sense and Sensibility, Pride and Prejudice (anything Jane Austen, really) |
Favorite Music | Handel's "Messiah", lots of great hymns of the church, and just about anything Trisha Yearwood sings. Celtic Women have a phenomenal version of "Amazing Grace." |
Favorite Books | Paul's letter to the Romans, The Gospel of John, Revelation. Running a far, far distant second to the Bible is everything else. I like Jane Austen's novels. I read anything written by Robert Spencer because the topic is so incredibly important to understand. "The Knowledge of the Holy" by A.W. Tozer is superb. |
