| Introduction | Profiles are ambiguous to say the least. I could tell you about the music I like. I could tell you about the books I've read. But would that really tell you about me - the man and his life? I could tell you what I love to eat, or my desires in a friend, yet that wouldn't tell you much, would it? But that is me sitting on the plane. I am a Vietnam era vet. Some have said I've lived many lives in my lifetime. To a degree that's true. | Favorite Movies | Okay, I hijacked this section to continue my profile. I love to travel I served 4 years in the US Air force. I've touched the cold steel of bars surrounding me. I've drank wine in the jungles of Thailand and tapped my feet at the Apollo Theater. I've had 3 great love affairs, and I am now a widowed man in America, I've been a little league baseball coach and I am presently a guest columnist for a local newspaper, I've been robbed at gun point in Dayton Ohio. I love music and recently returned from the Essence Music Festival in New Orleans. I've dangled my feet from the balcony of a theater at the Telluride Film Festival, and in the waters of the Atlantic and Pacific oceans, I've literally held 7620 volts in my hands as an electric power lineman. And I've held the hands of my 3 children. I love to laugh and love to converse with just about anyone. Everyone is interesting in their own way. There will be pain and struggle, love and hope in my posts. I hope you enjoy your visit and do come back. |
