Introduction Chris Wible has been writing novels since she was 14. In Between Goodbyes is the first of these novels not to fall into the open arms of the waste basket. “I get inspired by someone I see, someone famous or not so famous and then my brain goes off and running and I have to live with that person for the next few years until I write them out of my grey matter.” Chris started out in the worst possible way in the 60s, with a degree in Political Science, so she put that to good use writing methods and procedures for the sales department of a Fortune 500 Company. “I couldn’t wait to retire so that I could write creatively. Come to think of it, I wrote creatively there but my bosses didn’t notice, or at least I hope they didn’t.” After retirement life impinged, and Chris finished up a couple of stray master’s degrees (none in creative writing, of course) before returning to the love of her life, fiction. After self-publishing In Between Goodbyes, In Season and The Shepherd's Image she has three other novels in the works.
