Introduction | Hi, I'm Sarah! If you've read my blog, you can find out a lot more about me, but I'm a mother of two kids who is supposed to be a stay-at-home, homeschooling mom, but I find myself running around like the proverbial headless chicken more often than not. Still, I love it and wouldn't trade it for anything except maybe a free college education or a free house in the Bahamas complete with ocean view and a pool boy. (Hey, I'm just keepin' it real.) I have a penchant for rescuing animals, so we currently have one dog, five cats, and a fish tank that keeps propagating itself with more guppies and mollies. The darn things are like the rabbits of the fish world. I've held several jobs in my past ranging from painting pottery in a factory to writing for a newspaper to doing medical transcription to running a nursery, but currently my job title is "Mom." I'm hopeful that soon I can set up a healing garden and start to heal my family in a healthy way. Welcome and thanks for reading! |
Interests | I love to read, write, garden, and cook. I love genealogy, astrology, and my kids. :) |
Favorite Movies | I have to watch "The Family Stone" each Christmas. It's tradition. My tastes in movies are as varied as my tastes in books and music. You can't pin me down, folks! |
Favorite Music | Anything except rap, really really heavy-metal rock, and '80s music. Sorry, all you hair band fans. You won't get any sympathy from me. |
Favorite Books | The Count of Monte Cristo, anything by Edgar Allen Poe, and decently-written historical fiction |
