| Introduction | I'm pretty sure I am addicted to floor cleaning appliances of every kind. My resting heart rate is 56 BPM (and falling). I am ridiculously good at taking pictures of myself and friends while holding the camera at arms length. I love surprises. I have a steel trap of a memory for words (Boone hates this). I also remember where I bought every article of clothing our family owns, the "regular" price, and the price I paid for it -- if you comment on something I am wearing I am unable to resist telling you these details. I like snakes. I have given birth without any drugs (not by choice). I'm a Democrat and get more liberal by the minute -- this doesn't always mesh well with my family, my religion, being in the Army, or being married to a dentist (who, by the way, is more liberal than I am). I HATE making phone calls. HATE IT. I cry when I go to Sea World because I still want to train killer whales. I love buying gifts for people. I hate reaching into the back of a car for anything -- okay, I just hate reaching in general. I once weighed 202 pounds (I'm 5'4")(Fine, I was pregnant and had pre-eclampsia, but still.) |
| Interests | Laundry, changing diapers, making macaroni and cheese, pouring cold cereal, cleaning toilets, repeating myself 1129 times a day, shopping at Target, checking email 27 times a day, dressing and undressing my kids after each meal, snack, or thought that involves food, did I say laundry already? |
| Favorite Movies | Field of Dreams, Bourne movies (I am IN LOVE with Jason Bourne -- not Matt Damon -- Jason Bourne), I Am Sam, Napoleon Dynamite (it gets funnier every time!). I grew up on the classic musicals -- Oklahoma!, South Pacific, Sound of Music, The King and I -- I could sing every word to every song in those movies! |
| Favorite Music | Depends on my mood! I love all kinds of music, but some of my staples are U2, John Mayer, Sarah McLaughlin, Josh Groban, Sara Barellis, Bon Jovi, anything that has been on Grey's Anatomy -- sometimes I just belt out Celine Dion like crazy around the house. When I am working out I like Linkin Park, Puddle of Mudd, etc., but I also love classical music and am just as happy at a symphony as I am at a rock concert. I don't like most rap and techno, but that's about it. |
| Favorite Books | Twilight series (until Renesme -- yuck), Life of Pi, Eat Pray Love, Harry Potter... okay really, I just love to read and I like new stuff, kids stuff, classics, historical fiction -- pretty much everything! Like my music interests, the easier question to answer is what are my LEAST favorite books? I hated The Road by Cormac McCarthy. Hated it. That's about all I can think of. |
