| Introduction | I've been interested in photography and graphics, typography & design as long as I can remember. I took my first image at the age of 7 in Deal on the south east coast of England. it was a picture of my mother sitting on a deck chair taken with a Kodak 126 cartridge camera. My next notable photographic moment was when my father bought me a Zenith TTL SLR on my 14th birthday. I learned a lot from that and had a succession of film cameras from then on. Around 1990, I managed to get on a government training scheme as a photographic assistant with a wedding photographer and later a studio photographer also attending the City Of Westminster College to get a BTEC qualification. All the while I was learning about design and typography which stands me in good stead for what I am trying to achieve now. |
