The first time you had your shoes taken off - how surprised were you to see that you still had toes?
Wait. What? Was this after some sort of explosion where I thought I may have lost them? I would be so surprised that I would probably cry. Now, if it were an industrial explosion in conjunction with top secret research working to splice human and colossal squid DNA, surprise may be coupled with a slight disappointment to still have toes and not tentacles.
