Introduction | Just another artsy girl exploring the mysteries of life. I recently moved to New York City, leaving behind a life at Dreamfarm, five rambling acres in South Austin, Texas, where oak trees sprawl on a hill sliding down to a meadow where the vegetable garden grows. Where a hodge-podge old farm house and music barn still sit, where we raised kids, several dogs, a cat, and briefly, lots of chickens. It was a place that nurtured dreams but reminded, to reap the harvest labor is required. I have discovered the same is true in NYC, and I find myself looking for clues to the great mystery daily in Central Park and in weekend escapes to the wonders of the Northeast -- beaches, mountains and villages steeped in history. They have something to teach me. Unfortunately, I seem to have less time to write about it. |
