| Introduction | A fan of Jane Austen, Elizabeth Gaskell and Georgette Heyer, Manda started writing Moonlighting fanfiction in the seventh grade. After many stops and starts, and a couple of graduate degrees in between, she was led back to romance writing via drabbles and fanfiction on the Eloisa James bulletin board. In 2006, she finaled several times in the Avon Fanlit competition and liked it so much she wrote a historical romance novel. When not writing she's an academic librarian. She lives with three rescue cats, sometimes a dog and sometimes her sister, in coastal Alabama. |
