| Introduction | I am the proud mother of three grown sons, mother-in-law to two fabulous daughters-in-law, and grandmother to a grandson and two granddaughters. Grandchildren really make life grand! I like to play with numbers during the day, at my "real" job. When not at work (a necessity, as I have come to rely on a roof over my head and food to eat), I like to cut up fabric and sew it back together in more pleasing ways. I started sewing as a teenager, making most of my clothes. Throughout the years, I tried just about every craft, from crocheting and folk art painting to basket weaving. When I realized it was not realistic to expect my sons to wear clothes I made for them, I turned to quilting and have never looked back. |
