Why don't you ever wear a scarf? It doesn't need to be cold outside for your neck to feel naked.
Excellent question! Except I am known for wearing a scarf even in sweltering, shades of hades temperatures. Why more people don't wear scarves year round is beyond me because I think the neck needs a little more attention and sheesh in the winter, I need all the warmth I can get!
