| Introduction | I am a 33 year old mommy and wifey... We have a five year old(Miss Kelcee)who is our miracle baby by all since of the word... I have a very supportive hubs who would do anything in the world for me and Kelcee. We tried for two years for her and after several miscarriages, I finally had our miracle baby at 36 wks gestation via emergency c-section do to almost full blown Eclampsia. Just about 3 years ago I noticed a red rash and the Dermatologist wasn't sure if it was DM, or Lupus. After awhile of it being on the skin in 2008 it hit my muscles and I have been battling to get it in REMISSION for over 2 years!! I currently go to JHU. I will have my last round of chemo infusions in June. I am also on IVIG infusions and steroid infusions as well! IVIG is indefinte, but we hope only 5 more! I am very outgoing, funny and try not to let my disease get in the way of enjoying my life, my daughter, my husband, friends and family. I am truly blessed with all GOD has given me and I try not to focus on the fact that I am sick, sometimes I do but I try not to...we just found out the meds are working, which is awesome news!! |
