Introduction Over 27 years experience as both an electronic engineer and as an I/T Architect. I made a big career change in 1993 and got into the consulting business. I started my consulting career in the client-server days and was was involved in several projects to build graphical user interfaces for customer service representatives in call centers. Later, I broke into web technology by building self-service B2B websites, primarily for manufacturers who wanted to support their dealer network better. Along the way, I also took an interest in middleware, legacy system integration, integration with SAP, and more recently SOA. Most of my business domain expertise is in manufacturing, banking, and insurance. Currently I am an Executive I/T Architect at IBM Global Business Services and a first line manager.
