| Introduction | We are Bumblebee and Sophie is a children’s clothing and accessory company that provides unique designs in playful fabrics for girls and boys, as well as quilts, bags, and sewing room accessories. I am Cindy. I love to sew and create. It all started with crib bedding, before my granddaughter Sophia was born, and quickly developed into knit sweaters and little dresses, once she arrived. Sarah (my daughter) asked me, to create a custom crib bedding set for Sophia. The result was a beautiful, eye-catching combination of playful fabrics. From there with inspiration and help from Sarah we (Sarah was a big part in the beginning) were inspired to create clothing that featured similar bold and fresh fabrics. In the beginning we decided to combine our areas of expertise (Cindy and award winning quilter and Sarah a former small business owner) to create a beautiful, boutique line of little girls clothing. The result: Bumblebee & Sophie Sarah has since moved on to full-time motherhood and I am branching out in to other sewn accessories.
