Introduction	the fam will call me the professional student, and might even make the claim that i am too scared to enter the workforce... in rebuttal i think to myself with a smile on my face, maybe you're too scared to set a plan in action, stick to it, and see it to the end. and that is what i am doing... i am completing my phd in mechanical engineering so i can pursue a career in biomechanics... now wait for it... that is what i set out to do in highschool, more than ten years ago. there of course have been tweaks along the way, and now my area of research is sports engineering and biomechanics, but this has literally been part of my master plan, and yet people still feel it relevant to discuss my fears of 8-5 work days, no flexibility, superiors, and deadlines. well, wait and see my friends, because the next stage is almost here!!
