Introduction	Thanks for visiting my blog. I am a retired,young at heart grandmother who is living a dream in this tropical paradise, called Sanibel Island. My blog was created to share some of my miscellaneous ramblings about the beauty I see around me each day. I am not an experienced writer; just be aware that you may have to read what I was thinking at the time and not what you see. This tranquil place is a haven for wildlife and the natural beaches are spectacular, so I will also post pictures now and then that I snap quickly with my cellphone. Since I am on 'Island Time' and consider myself to be a 'Slacker', my posts may not be on a regular basis. But,I hope you enjoy sharing some of what I am blessed with and come back to visit often.
Interests	volunteer 'Turtle Walker' for the Sanibel Captiva Conservation Foundation. I love walking the beach, looking for seashells that I don't yet have in my collection. Watching the abundant wildlife. Going on an occasional boat trip. And, RELAXING
