Introduction Kassi Isaac was born and bred in sunny Queensland, Australia. She cultivated a love for drawing at an early age. Her childhood was filled with imagination pretty things and day dreaming of magical worlds; her mother often speaks of how she could draw before she could walk. Conceptually Kassi's art and illustration is based around memories of childhood, dreams and nostalgia. Kassi expresses herself through variety of media, including pencil, gouache, water colour, ink, recycled papers and fabric. She also enjoys uses elements of traditional drawing with the combination of digital graphics. After studying Visual Communications, with an emphasis on Packaging design, Advertising and Illustration at the Design College Australia she soon moved to Sydney to pursue a professional career in packaging design and freelance illustration. Kassi now works for one of the top packaging design companies in Australia. Kassi has designed and illustrated numerous works for many charities and blue-chip companies across Australia. Kassi is currently illustrating books for children and has recently been published and exhibited in Yen's annual Curvy 6, 2009.
