| Introduction | Bazodee is a Trinidadian colloquialism that means "crazy" and a "bobolee" is one who bears the brunt of others' anger. A punching bag of sorts. Do I think I am a crazy punching bag? Not really, but the two words together sound funny enough to be put here. In Trinidad, "tabanca" is used to refer to the feeling a lover has when separated from their other half. Love-sickness, if you will. I suffer from serious curry tabanca living outside of Trinidad. If you visit, and don't get kidnapped or murdered before you get a chance to eat something curried, then you'd understand. I am the last of three children. First boy. Muzza wanted two girls and a boy, and Allah smiled upon her and granted her wish, but He smiled most broadly when He granted her moi. I am an East Indian West Indian and have been confused ever since I was born. |
