| Introduction | I am a wife and a mother that is fighting a life threatening illness and searching for a cure. I continue to hold onto life and embrace each moment I have. I may be confined to my couch, not able to drive or do the things I once loved, but I still love my life. I have come to realize that I can do hard things and there is always Joy in the Journey, it just has to be sought out. Although it is sometimes crazy and scary and filled with the unknown, I find comfort and peace and strength from knowing that I am a daughter of God. With that knowledge, I am armed to continue walking this untraveled path, gathering all the blessings and joy and happiness that come with the battle for survival. With my husband and son at my side, and my loved ones surrounding me, my Savior buoying me up, I do not walk alone. It is a wonderful and crazy life and I intend to do all I can to keep living it! |
