| Introduction | Art is my passion, been painting since my childhood in the Ozarks where I spent a decade studying with the most wonderful teacher, Louise Kessler. Art is in my genes, my grandmother started painting after retirement, and I have some of her beautiful landscapes to share. College, I decided to be more practical and studied engineering and law, but painting always pulls me back. I'm always happiest with a little burnt umber under my nails. Plus it makes a great excuse--I'm not turning grey, that must be white paint in my hair... I'll be adding photos of my paintings and other artwork regularly, so check back soon. I must've been quite good this year, Santa brought me a new camera to help with my blogging... I love to paint landscapes, houses, portraits, and pet portraits. Experimenting keeps my work fresh, vibrant acrylic colors are my current craze. |
