| Introduction | I am a full-time mom, full-time scientist and always seem to be out of time when it comes to keeping my house clean or getting dinner on the table (I have learned to lower my standards). After chasing it for nearly 4 years, I no longer believe there is such a thing as the perfect "work-life balance." I now believe you have to take life like a roller coaster. Hang on for the ups and downs. It can sure seem scary while you are in the midst of it (and some days you feel like you are going to hurl), but once you get off you realize how much fun it was and you just can't wait to get right back on! |
