Introduction With the help of my mother, I started sewing at the tender age of five and I started sewing quilts just after I was married in 1968. This "city girl" married a dairy farmer and we live in a rural area that is 20 miles to any place. Since all the ladies in our rural area made quilts for the churches for fund raisers, it was expected that I would sew quilt tops. This started my quilting addiction. Of course, I sewed clothes for my family but quilting became my primary passion. I retired the first time in 2001 from a corporation, and then I retired a second time in 2010 from a quilt shop and teaching quilting classes. I am wife to a retired dairy farmer, mother to three grown children plus one son-in-law, and grandmother of five grandchildren, and two grand-dogs. Now it is time to have fun and QUILT!!
