| Introduction | Instead of farting out infinitesimal whiffs of inspiration on Facebook, I'm trying to return to something a little more focused, though interspersed with the flotsam and jetsam of hypermodern, interweb-addled post-reality. Among the things that motivate me are: music, bicycles, women, literature, graffiti, skateboarding, a very lowbrow type of fashion, beer, coffee, food, and fatherhood. This blog might be about all those things or none of them. As the years have gone by, my interaction with my world has become more ephemeral. Freak Magnet V.2 marks a course change, a turn into the wind, an attempt to juxtapose the absurdity, incongruity, intensity, and inanity of my life into some kind of raw-boned creative output. |
