About me

Gender Male
Industry Military
Location Norfolk, Virginia, United States
Introduction Attended Carnegie Mellon University from 2003-2007 and graduated with a B.S. in Technical Writing and Communications and a Minor in Biomedical Engineering. I commissioned, through the CMU NROTC program, into the Navy and have since served as a Surface Warfare Officer I love the physical culture of Kettlebell, Olympic, and powerlifting, as well as strongman lifts and gymnastics. Though I love all manner of sports, my favorite sport is Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, and with it I love to train Judo, and all types of wrestling. I strive for physical excellence, hoping there will be positive carry over to other areas of my life. My fitness goals fluctuate and change, but always focus on functional strength, dynamic work capacity, mobility, and the production of power. I avoid neolithic foods (grains, sugar, processed oils), and opt for a more traditional diet. Because of this, I easily maintain lower body fat levels and rarely get sick. This is despite my previous history of being perpetually chubby, and dealing with chronic upper respiratory infections and blood sugar issues. I feel great, and I believe so can anyone who embraces a pre-agricultural diet.
