Introduction	Thankful for my blessings: husband, 2 great kids (the boy, the girl), even an affectionate dog, wonderful extended family and great friends and neighbours. I love welcoming people into our home, enjoying a good cup of tea or a warm meal. Gardening brings me pleasure, as does a good book. Teacher, writer, good listener, runner, encourager, procrasinater, constantly putting things back where they belong. Believe in Jesus, rise early to have quiet time with Him every day (well, almost). Thankful for the power of prayer. I love my mountains, the water, the sound of rain on my roof when I wake up. I love to see sun rays shining through the branches of my neighbour's chestnut tree from my kitchen window as I make supper. Dream of riding our bikes through France and visiting deepest, darkest Peru. I love the smell of lilacs, and hyacinths and big bouquets of cut flowers. I also enjoying making daisy chains and watching the kids blow dandelion seeds (as long as they are NOT in my yard!)and run around playing soccer, or spies in the backyard. Wish we spent more time at the seashore than the grocery store. Thanks for reading my blog.
