Favorite Movies	The Mancurian Candidate (the original), most film noir esp Blade Runner, Alien, The Godfather 1 and 2, Hitchcock's Blackmail (and most of his other films), Oh Brother Where art Thou (and most of the Cohens' other films), The Matrix (the first one), a lot of chick flicks esp. An Affair to Remember, only one musical and that's "Singing in the Rain" one of my all-time favorites, and I'm sure many others that I can't think of right now.
Favorite Music	Pink Floyd, John Mayer, Coldplay, Medeski Martin & Wood, Bela Fleck & the Flecktones, Blues, Punk, Alternative, Classic Rock, the Romantic period of classical music, very little country music except for Johnny Cash, Willy Nelson, and John Prine, and no rap whatsoever.
Favorite Books	Watership Down, To Kill a Mockingbird, The Sun Also Rises, Cannery Row, The Handmaid's Tale, The Complete Works of Shakespeare, and many more.
