| Introduction | Andrew McAllister Ph.D. grew up knowing he wanted to be an author. One of Andrew's passions in life is human behavior, which he pursued by obtaining a psychology degree from the University of New Brunswick and working as a psychiatric attendant. He combined this experience with many years as a husband, father, and student of life. All of this led him to create the blog To Love, Honor, and Dismay. Andrew is also a computer geek. His information technology industry roles have included consultant with an international IT consulting firm, vice president of a software development company, and university professor. His research has focused on topics where human behavior intersects with technology. As a board certified TV remote control operator, Andrew was recently ranked as one of the most popular fathers in his entire household. His dual background in psychology and IT means that he can fix what’s wrong with your computer software, but only if it really wants to change. Andrew lives with his family in New Brunswick, Canada, where he is busy working on his next book. Oh... and his wife says the letters after his name stand for Propeller Head. |
