Introduction I'm a Georgia peach and come from a really great family! I'm the oldest of four & both of my parents are teachers. My mom stayed home with us growing up so we were on a real tight budget with my dad's lowly teaching salary (Much love & respect for all you teachers out there). I have moved a couple times...went to college in Tennessee, worked at a radio station in Chattanooga & now I'm in Atlanta, where I've been at 104.7The Fish for 7 years now. I just got married in July of 2011 to my Gerard Butler lookalike husband. ;p (At least in my book) We have an issue with laughing too much, but we're working on that. :p He's an awesome guy, named Mike & he's like the bread to my butter.
Interests Cooking, Baking (but I lick the bowl too much so I only do that on special occasions), Salsa dancing...really any kind of dancing, Music...I'm in radio, so yeah, I like music...correction...I love music & all genres, decorating, exercising & nutrition, singing...although I don't do much of it these days, reading (just finished up a book called, The Girls from Ames), fashion...but I'm not as fanatic about shoes as most women are...boots...now I'm a little fanatic about those, work...I work in radio and I have to admit it's a pretty cool job...hard work, not much pay...but fun & how many people can say that? and ofcourse party-planning & crafts of any kind.
Favorite Movies I may be a little strange, but I usually hate to watch movies twice & I kinda feel like in order for it to be your favorite, you should want to watch it over & over again. It's mainly funny movies that I like to watch again...Dumb & Dumber, Little Rascals (I know...that's kinda random but I think it's so funny. I think it's partly because my brother that has special needs used to watch it over & over again growing up)...there are many more that I enjoy...love musicals, action, romantic comedies (duh, I'm a female)
Favorite Music There are just too many to include here...but here are a few: Train, Colbie Calliat, Dave Barnes, Brooke Fraser, Black-Eyed Peas, Pink, Jason Mraz...ok...I've got to stop or I will continue forever....
Favorite Books Anything by CS Lewis, most recently The Help & The Girls from Ames
