| Introduction | I grew up in SE Michigan, and I attended Michigan State University. I met my husband the summer before my senior year. We were married in 1981. The first year we lived outside of New Orleans. After New Orleans, Doug’s employer transferred him to Up State NY. All three of our children arrived while we were in NY. We moved to Aiken, SC in 1991 and this has been our home ever since. I began paper crafting in 1998. A friend introduced a group of us into scrapbooking. Over the years I added card making to my crafting. I have been a blogger since 2008. I ran a weekly Design Team for six years and was a paid designer and instructor for several years. In 2014 my mother moved in with us due to her diagnosis of Alzheimer’s. She was with us for five years. After her death, I considered changes I wanted to make in my life now that my time was my own again. In March 2019 I joined Stampin' Up! and have found further joy and rewards in continuing my crafting with the Stampin' Up! brand.
