Introduction Although most people know me as Lupi, my full name is Hyperion Lupini Hranicky. I am the official greeter/innkeeper at my owners’ B&B, the Benjamin F. Packard House. I am a rare breed; a Bergamasco, (Italian), Sheepdog. We have been bred to herd and protect sheep in the Italian Alps. Luckily, I have an easier life here in the U.S. Yes, I do have dreadlocks, all my relatives do. They help protect us in the cold mountain weather. I am very proud of them and never shave them, even when its hot. When my owners, Mark & Amy Hranicky first adopted me, we lived in Erie, PA. I was so excited when they began talking about moving to Bath, Maine and opening a B&B. What an opportunity for me to get even more attention! As an innkeeper my first duty is greeting our guests. I also help with the gardening, (which doesn’t always make Amy happy), and keep everyone company. I am very friendly and I love meeting new people.
