Introduction I am a Texan "by transfer", having left Illinois in 1980. After 27 years as a teacher, I quit at the age of 48, took off a couple of years, and started a home daycare in 1994. My husband Terry is still working in the electronic industry, but SAYS he's retiring in another year or two. (I'll believe it when it happens!) We met at the age of six in the first grade. He's a great guy, good husband, wonderful father, and fantastic grandpa. We've had lots of happy times in our 42 years of marriage. I've always wished I were a lawyer or an entertainer. I just didn't have the money in 1961 to go to law school, and my tap/jazz dancing experience stayed within the central Illinois area... again, no means to go off to NYC or LA...oh, well...I've had a great life with lots of fun, a very close family, and many dear friends.

Your superpower is that you smell like dandelions whenever someone lies. How will you maintain your secret identity?

I think I would buy a perfume with the fragrance of roses, my favorite flower, and keep it handy whenever I started to smell dandelions. Just a few squirts, and POOF...I'm disguised!!
