| Introduction | Why do I blog? I don't have my child. It took over a year and 1/2 for me to finally decipher the 20 second portion of the tape. Now, an image of him and that part of the tape recording haunts me forever. He tells me that visit day, "Each time I go home from a visit I just screeeeeam at my foster mom..Cuz each time she walks in, its not you..." Those heartbreaking words from my son inspired 'Its Almost Tuesday' - a fictional story based on true events in the foster care system. |

THE CHILDREN WHO ARE FORGOTTEN CAN BE REBUILT FROM THE BOTTOM, GIVEN FAMILIES WHO LIVE BY THE LOVING LESSONS THEIR PREDECESSORS TAUGHT THEM. INSTEAD OF SECRETS AND DECEIT, GIVE CHILDREN PEACE. BE AWARE OF THE TRUTH - ITS ALL AROUND US - JUST BECAUSE IT HURTS DON'T PRETEND ITS NOT A PART OF US.
