| Introduction | JUAN CARLOS VILLAVICENCIO ORTEGA (Puerto Montt, Chile, 1976). Soy Licenciado en Lengua y Literatura Hispánica y Egresado de Magíster(c) en Literatura General, en la Universidad de Chile. Exprofesor universitario, poeta, traductor y editor. He publicado The Hours, Breaking Glass (poemario dual junto a Carlos Almonte), Oscuros ríos, Visiones de María Magdalena y Antígona en el Espejo. Publiqué una antología crítica de Jorge Teillier en Ediciones Cátedra. He traducido libros de Fernando Pessoa, Georg Trakl, Sara Teasdale, Jerome Rothenberg y Antoni Clapés al castellano, así como La tierra baldía, de T. S. Eliot junto a Braulio Fernández Biggs. Aparte están mis traducciones inéditas de Yeats, Rilke, Frost, Kuschner y Georg Kaiser. |
