| Introduction | I used to spend time doing research on the Whitechapel Murders of 1888, during which I co-authored "The News From Whitechapel: Jack the Ripper in the 'Daily Telegraph.' Now I'm turning my love of silent movies into a writing career to satisfy myself (and a few readers along the way). My first novel, "The Director's Cut: A Theda Bara Mystery" came out in 2011.
