Introduction	I grew up in a little town in South Australia where I enjoyed a wonderful childhood. Playing with my cat, catching tadpoles and fun times with friends on our large, wide veranda are many of the memories I hold dear. I married and divorced but raised 3 wonderful children, and now have the joy of watching my beautiful grandchildren grow. A dear lady taught me how to make a basic teddy 25 years ago. I look at it now and wonder how I ever thought it was a good, but some how that teddy entered my heart and I have not stopped making them ever since. Each piece of mohair I begin with tells me what little bear should pop out of it, reminding me of childhood stories that weave magical enchantment and memories. Since 1985 I have made many bears and have sold them at local markets. I also love teaching a very enthusiastic and fun loving group of girls.
